A Little Wonder, Waiting Inside
Discover the surprise hidden inside a natural stone. Lumyrelle’s break-your-own geodes arrive unopened, ready for you to crack open with a hammer and explore the white crystal formations within.
Choose from three sizes, enjoy a hands-on discovery, then display your opened crystal pieces at home or share a unique find with someone special.
An Ordinary Stone. An Unexpected Discovery.
Each geode has a rugged white, cream, or gray outer shell, sometimes marked with warm yellow patches. Inside, naturally formed crystals create their own textures, shapes, and patterns.
Some interiors have delicate crystal clusters and open pockets; others have smaller cavities or denser formations. No two discoveries look exactly alike.
Discover, Display, or Give
• Crack your own geode: Enjoy revealing the crystals hidden beneath the stone’s surface.
• Start or grow a collection: Add a natural mineral specimen to your crystal or rock collection.
• Bring nature indoors: Display opened pieces on a shelf, desk, or bedside table.
• Make your gift personal: Open a stone yourself and give a discovered piece to someone you love—or gift an unopened geode so they can experience the surprise.
Nature creates the crystals. Opening the stone reveals your own unique keepsake.
Three Sizes to Choose From
Small: 3–5 cm / approximately 1.2–2 inches
Medium: 5–8 cm / approximately 2–3.1 inches
Large: 8–12 cm / approximately 3.1–4.7 inches
Sizes refer to the approximate dimensions of the unopened stone. Shape and measurements vary naturally.
How to Open Your Geode
Wear safety goggles and wrap the geode securely in a thick cloth to help contain fragments. Place it on a stable, impact-resistant surface and carefully tap with a hammer, keeping hands away from the striking area.
Open the cloth carefully to inspect your discovery. Broken edges and crystal points may be sharp. Adult supervision is required for children.
What Makes Every Geode Different?
These are natural stones, so exterior color, crystal size, clarity, cavity shape, and break patterns vary. A geode may open into several irregular pieces rather than two matching halves.
Photos illustrate possible appearances and display ideas. Your stone and the formations inside will be unique.
